The three numbers that matter
Straight from Meta Ads Manager. Nothing rounded up, nothing estimated except the sales figure, which is explained below.
£10 a day, never raised
The daily budget has not moved since the campaign started in October. Total spend so far is £3,209.70.
742 enquiries at £4.33 each
Every enquiry is a real person who filled in their details. The cost per enquiry is measured in Meta Ads Manager, not estimated.
Under 1 in 10 closed, still over £200,000
The owner closes fewer than one in ten enquiries. On a £3,000 average job, that still comes to more than £200,000 in sales.
One system, built round a working week
The same approach works for any business where one job is worth four figures. Local ads on Facebook and Instagram, pointed at the postcodes that can afford it — Bearsden, Newton Mearns, Giffnock, the West End, Milngavie.
Anyone who answers has to give us the job, the budget and the timescale before they reach you. The ones who were only ever price-shopping never make it as far as your phone.

Yours and nobody else'sEvery enquiry goes to you alone. I take one business per trade in an area — the moment there are two, the leads are shared with a nicer name on them.
-
Qualified before they reach youJob, budget and timescale, answered before you pick up the phone. You decide who is worth the drive, from the van, in about two minutes.
-
You stay on the toolsUnder an hour of your time to set up, plus some photos of your work. After that it runs while you are on site and the enquiries land on your phone.
The same sum, applied to a trade
At £4.33 an enquiry, ten enquiries cost £43.30. If you close one in ten, as this owner does, that is £43.30 of ad spend per job won. Put your own job value next to that number.

What £10 a day actually did
Straight answer first: the account below is not a trade. It is a service business on a £3,000 average job — the closest like-for-like I have to a bathroom, a rewire or a roof. It is a real, live account, not a story.
£10 a day. Over £200,000 in sales.
This campaign has run since October on a £10 daily budget that has never been raised. Total spend so far: £3,209.70. That brought 742 enquiries at £4.33 each.
He closes fewer than one in ten of them — he'd tell you himself he's no salesman. But his job value is £3,000, so fewer than one in ten still came to more than £200,000.
Everything on that screenshot is measured: the spend, the leads and the cost per lead. The £200,000 is his own close rate and his own job value applied to those 742 enquiries. I'll walk you through that sum on the call rather than ask you to take it on trust.
Want the same numbers for your business?
One business per trade per area is the whole reason these enquiries are worth having. It does mean areas close — worth ten minutes to find out whether yours is still open.
